Welcome to our Website!

When we opened our coffeehouse, we had no idea where we would be four, five or six years down the road. We had enough going on to keep us focused without looking too far ahead. We wanted to become a part of the community here in North Portland. Just a little niche in this slice of the land.
Our goals were simple. Open a friendly, happy little establishment where friends, neighbors and others could gather for good coffee, conversation, dessert or a bit of lunch. If reading or browsing the net fit the plan, we had the room and WIFI to fit the need.
We have learned a lot in these years and we have met some truly wonderful people along the way. Thank you all for making this possible.
And here we are today with a website and blog to share with our community. This is really an exciting phase to begin. Our hopes are to use the website and blog to build a closer bond with our community, share thoughts and ideas. Plus we plan to use the site for promotions and announcements.

And We Also Have a Blog
Yes, we now have a blog! You can access it through our menu above (News and Events & Blog) or go directly to http://northstarcoffeehouse.com/blog.
In the "News and Events" section we will post special offer coupons, announcements, community activities and other information geared to the fun things going on in our slice of North Portland. In our "Blog" section we'll have a range of posts and pages that we hope will include contributions from you, our North Portland community.
This should be a lot of fun and we want you to participate. Kindly remember we have many families and others near and dear to us. Be sensitive and encouraging in your contributions. We want this to be a place where we can all share without fear of flaming, mockery, small mindedness or other negative comments.
The blogosphere is filled with blogs that cater to venting. That's a good thing. We want this blog to cater to positive influences in our community. So share & enjoy!

It is a community icon serving fine coffees & espresso with desserts and luncheon foods. The owners, Pam & Kathy, offer a comfortable setting with free WIFI and always art on the walls to draw you in and back. gj gordon, nlemedia.com More...
